USMC Return to Edinburgh

Post by Ledhead27 »

After talking to a couple of other spotters on the mound at Ingliston, USMC Hercules used to be relatively frequent visitors in years gone by to Edinburgh. However it's been quite some time since they've last been here, so it was certainly a turn up for the books to see this classic KC-130T Hercules of VMGR-452. The crew seemed all too happy to keep the aircraft nice and low on its departure to Oslo, Norway.

Brings back memories of the Skyhawk/ Hornet & Prowler Deplyments in the late 1980s. Would love to see some USMC F-35s pay a visit too.
