Today at Dunmail Raise

Post by HeyfordDave111 »

Hi chaps,

Spent rather a quiet day today at this location, and it was saved by 5 x American F-16's..... a single folowed by a pair then another pair (about 10-15 mins between 'flights')

However they were high and i could not get any decent pics (also into the sun) to be able to identify each one. Can anyone help please?
Cheers
Dave

Aviano F-16s out of Lakenheath.

FC have SABRE 11 flight of two down as doing LFA17 at about 4pm, and they were logged as 89-2023 and 89-2044 from someone at the base, but that's all I can piece together for you from the logs.

Managed to process within an inch of their lives and have as follows through Dunmail yesterday afternoon...

first flight was a single twin stick that snuck up on me so no number

Second flight of 2 were 532 and 057

third flight of 2 were 023 and 044

Hope this helps anyone else.

Think there's only one twin-seater on the deployment, so that should be 89-2178 (c/s COBRA 11).
