It had a radio failure at Boscombe on the Saturday - needed a flare to land
Don't remember it at Fairford - either I have forgot or it must have been tucked away in the static -
I often didn't cover all the static in those days - Static's is not really my thing and by the time you had yomped for hours past all the KC-135s and C-130's it was time to set up base camp and resupply!

Yep, static only in 1993. I assumed maybe incorrectly they were factory fresh from Italy both times.

Lovely shot Paul - I don't know how I missed it flying in 92 From memory I think my 93 static shot was at a wet Fairford. I'll look it out now - gives me something to do!
