48 Hour Photo Comp: Twin-Stick
Thanks PeterR
I've decided to keep the previous theme going but by moving it up to the next level.
So let's see your you best 3 three images of Twin-Stick combat jets.

Re: 48 Hour Photo Comp: Twin-Stick
I make no secret of the fact in a lot of fast jets I prefer the twin-stick variant to a single seater, which can be highly controversial in some cases such as the Hawker Hunter!
Starting off with the F-16BM Fighting Falcon, this example photographed at Florennes Air Base in 2017.
Secondly, the exception to my rule as I prefer the single seat Deux-Mille. But his Mirage 2000-5BG of the Hellenic Air Force is a mighty fine looking aircraft.
And finally, I thought I'd throw in four twin-stick jets for the price of one! Photographed at AIR14 and still not bettered as an airshow formation in my eyes...

hold on a sec, can the OP clarify the rules on this one please? there are a bunch of two seat jets on here that aren't twin sticks. Which is it?

Re: 48 Hour Photo Comp: Twin-Stick
I don't like twin-sticks in general.
So nothing better to offer than these (hope they qualify, as a military twin-stick is usually a trainer and a twin-seat combat aircraft usually hosts a WSO or equivalent, with no stick):

I'm hoping these all qualify having "pushed" the boundary in a previous foray!

Re: 48 Hour Photo Comp: Twin-Stick
Stunning pictures all round and you certainly made my life difficult in trying to narrow them down to just a top three but here goes.
3rd PeterR with the four ship Twin-stick formation which must have been an amazing sight to see.
2nd Blackbird with the Hunter T7. A simply beautiful aircraft.
1st LN Strike Eagle with the Meteor T7. Stunning top shot of a truly British classic.
So congratulations LN Strike Eagle and over to you for the next one.

Thank you Sacha.
Apologies for the delay, I'd missed this and someone had to nudge me. I'll put a new one up shortly.

Re: 48 Hour Photo Comp: Twin-Stick
Am I right in thinking that the visit to IAT 1993 by the New Zealand Air Force MB.339 was the only time a New Zealand Air Force MB.339 came to Great Britain - England?
