Just one scan from me, my ancient collection still awaits treatment. I think there are fewer Harriers than other stuff in it anyway, because spotting at Wittering always seemed difficult to us.

Re: 48hr Photo Comp - RAF Harrier
Thanks to everybody for posting a great selection from across the years. Shame so many of you missed out on seeing the Harrier in action but excellent to see many preserved frames. Managed to narrow it down after much deliberation a few of the many contenders worthy of a mention
Johns shot above of the pair on the break
Pauls VAAC great scheme and sky
Dans sunset at Cottesmore, happy memories of that afternoon, apart from being so cold
Leons four ship echoing the above comments.
Andrews GR1 at Biggin looking nice and shiny
Nicks artic shot lovely lighting and night sky
Spiny Normans GR3 at Leuchars , what a great capture of the take off and landing on the grass
Right so in third place
Michael's "That pass shot"
Right place right time, nice angle and lovely light
In second
Derek's GR7 at Farnborough 94
The Harrier display landing benefiting from a wet run always spectacular to see and a great capture
And the winner is
Peter Fenwicks fully loaded Harrier tucking up the gear. A pleasing image all round and one which captures the spirit of the Harrier for me
Well done again everybody most enjoyable viewing and look forward to the next theme whatever that may be Peter
