Some more from 1992 - Cosford, Lyneham and Wattisham

Post by capercaillie »

Some more slide scans from 1992 and a glorious early summer, well Wattisham was a bit cloudy.
Lyneham held a fine families day on 20th June with displays from the home team Hercules, Buccaneer, Jaguar, Hawk, Mosquito, Tigercat, Lancaster & Spitfire from BBMF, Puma and a couple of Vulcan flypasts. An interesting Canadian Convair was on base, but I shot everything from outside that year.

Next day was Cosford Airshow, quite hazy if my memory recalls, unless my memory is hazy and it was bright blue?

A nostalgic set, love the Herc and Nimrod shots in particular.

What a line-up, but that Jaguar take-off - superb.

Excellent Hawk pic -

Not sure about the Dominie but that sort of thing was usually a result of some sort of 'zapping' activity on a static or other landaway.
