Super stuff. That is one funky pigeon.

On my list of things to do but seems a long way off at the moment!

Both very nice images, the Tui being my fave. I love the sheen on its plumage. Hope to see one if I make it to Omaka next year.
Cheers,

Most are shy but this Tui seems quite fearless

I assume the yellow over the bill is pollen from the flowers where it is feeding on nectar?

Lovely stuff Andy. Was the Yellow Eyed Penguin at Curio Bay? Spent about 7 hours over 2 days there, waiting for a 5 minute glimpse  . Had a better view of them taking The Elm Wildlife tour on the Otago Peninsula, from Dunedin a couple of years back, 7 in about an hour, running the gauntlet of several juvenile NZ Sea Lions. Thoroughly recommend that trip if you get chance.
