1/72 scale Sea fury, help.

Post by AndyXH558 »

Im doing a sea fury, its gone together well but painting it is another thing, Having problems with the stripes for the korean campaign,

Just wondering if anyone has spare decals for that. Its the first model I have done in a very long time and my masking skills are awful.

Andy - one idea is to paint the whole striped area white and then get some black decal strip (try Hannants and superscale decals). Are you using Tamiya tape for masking - its pretty good.

Hi Andy,
If its not too late, I have the remains of a decal sheet from the Trumpeter 1:72 Sea Fury FB.11 kit (01631) which includes black & white stripes for upper/lower wings and the fuselage!

Happy to send them to you, if they will help?
