Had a grey wagtail my garden this year for the first time, was picking fish food off the surface of the pond. Great pics

Hmmm - interesting - also had a Grey Wag in the garden this year, first time since I started keeping a keen eye on the birdies a decade or more ago. Not exactly a statistically significant sample, but wonder if there is possibly a behaviour change taking place. For example, many blackcaps now visit gardens in winter rather than migrating as they did a few decades ago - good news for birders, although climate change is the most obvious explanation for this.

Excellent set,all too easy to ignore our common garden birds in search of the exotic !
Don't know about those jets ,they spoil a very nice place
