My 3 entries:
"Gansta lean" is when your figther doesn't have the good taste of featuring a real door - Legends 2016:

Sliding canopy is a sure way to differentiate a "Zéphir" from a "Magister" (as the "Zéphir" is not equiped with an ejection seat, deck landing with an open canopy is mandatory) - Melun 2019:

This Colomban "Cri-cri' has its canopy open, not sure it can be closed anyway with so tall a pilot ! - La Ferté 2010:

Hopefully I'm not too late to enter this one, thinking a bit outside the box

Unfortunately I've not got the original on my works pc as all my photo's are at home, so have had to pull the image from my fb page.

Re: 48hr Photo Comp: Open Canopies
Thanks for all your entries. As ever, tough to judge and there are lots of contenders, but as Peter said, there's something badass about a military jet taxiing with the canopy opened, and none more so that the F-4. On that basis, I'm going to go with capercaillie's line of four Phantoms taxiing - the perfect subject for this theme, and a really nicely framed photograph to boot. Over to you Paul.

Cheers Dan, I've got the next topic ready and will pop it up in the morning.
Thanks Andy, I do like a Phantom with the canopies popped.
