RIAT 1991 Scans - Update 29-11-20

Post by Darren Currie »

Been away for a while and seen Paul's (capercaillie) superb scans. Totally agree the scanning thing is very therapeutic and have enjoyed scanning some of mine from over the years - here are a few from RIAT 1991 - hope you find of interest

Cracking scans Darren. I love F-111s, they just ruled.

Very nice scanning work Darren. That Skywarrior turned out, for me, to be one of those one-offs. I never saw one again, operational anyway, and didn't really grasp the significance at the time. Luckily I did photograph it. Its departure was ace as I remember.

Like you Wrexham Mackem IAT ‘91 was the one and only time I saw an EA-3B Skywarrior and like you I luckily got a photo of it, shame we had to return home to Scotland on Sunday so never saw the departure (or the arrival for that matter), but so just see it was good enough. Lovely aircraft.
