From what I remember, money. Duxford felt they didn't get enough and wanted more. It was not an IWM airshow, just a show hosted at Duxford and therefore didn't give them the same revenue as their other 2 shows.
Pretty much, and would have left nothing in it for TFC to make it then worth while putting it on. And then after the annoucement, that stupid women from IWM made those ridiculous comments on her Twitter page about Legends not really fitting in anymore with the IWM ideals or some such crap.

I'm actually surprised TFC are still based there, I really though they would have moved their operation elsewhere by now.
