For something so exotic based so close to the UK for so many years, the elusive A-4s of the Republic of Singapore Air Force were frustrating in that they only made one UK appearance during their 13 years based in France. Not even RIAT with its pulling power ever attracted them and Singapore remains an outstanding hole in its list of countries attanded.
I only ever managed to catch up with them on three occasions. Firstly, their one and only UK visit to Waddington in 2000. 20 minutes earlier they may have seen the sun on arrival.

In 2003, the spotters day at the Cambrai Tigermeet, coincided with the arrivals day for the weekend's airshow

Re: Singapore Scooters
A beautiful aircraft, although the undercarriage looks very thin, especially with the extended fescalised portion.
