Special Seven Forty-Sevens

Post by st24 »

Took me a while to remember how to post photos on here!
A cracking few days "out East" last week a the hall/heath and was lucky to catch the E-4B just about landing in daylight. Added a token couple from last June of the same airframe arriving well after dark then departing after a scorching hot day that clouded over as it departed, was also badly outlensed so not happy! Finally the VC-25 in slightly better light arriving and departing Heathrow.

Good set in some tricky lighting. Mildenhall is a pretty incredible base really, it had some fantastic movements last week.

Did you get AF1 arriving to Mildenhall last year?

Splendid stuff, mate.

I caught the E-4 in June (by the looks you were just a little further in the field!), but still don’t really have any useable images.

Cheers Dan, it was pretty much dark but I'm happy with what I got.
I did yes but the Heathrow lighting is much better.

I've only photographed one E-4 but it was in clear blue skies and daylight. :innocent:

Whereabouts were you photographing AF1 at Mildenhall from?
