Seafire RNAS Yeovilton 2022

Post by SWATCO »

Afternoon all,

With the Seafire from Kennet Aviation being purchased by Navy Wings at Yeovilton end of last year, I've been lucky to have seen it on numerous occasions on crew training etc.

Here's a few photos, starting from its press day held this week, with various media outlets include the local news sites invited down for a look.

The next few were taken when she arrived at Yeovilton on its delivery flight in December 2021:

Thanks mate, we're lucky to have it down these parts, hopefully it'll make a few airshow appearances this season!

Excellent shots. It’s already booked for the first Shuttleworth show I think.

Do we know if Weald Aviation are going to be doing the maintenance on this like they did the Sea Fury?

Thank you, at a guess I would say yes, as you say the Sea Fury did, and if I'm right the Wasp also is maintained by NW. (All guesswork however.)
