Watching the updates from Ukraine, I’m surprised that there aren’t tactical Electro-Magnetic Pulse (EMP) weapons that can be deployed to disrupt communications.
The effects of EMP following a nuclear detonation are well understood and documented so it seems odd to me that the ability to completely disrupt your enemies ability to communicate isn’t done.
Is there a ban in such weapons?
Given Russia’s disregard of the use of fuel air bombs, mines and cluster munitions, should this be a weapon that is used in future against advancing Russian brigades?
EMP weapon?
Re: EMP weapon?
Wouldn't they also disrupt your own comms?
