A late evening stroll to one of my local woodland/heathland locations in Herefordshire and a very sociable Roebuck was happy to stand and pose, unlike most that run away barking with a mere glimpse.
The last one shows a memorial to A Wellington crew from 105 (Transport) OTU who sadly perished in April 1945 on a training flight, tragic so close to VE Day.

Quite lean buck part way through spring moult. Very nice!
