Swiss Spotting Trip 2021 (HEAVY) Final Update

Post by Draken »

It's been a while, but finally I have some time to share few photos from my amazing holiday in Switzerland in August lasy year.
I've spent 11 days with my Swiss friends spotting, eating, drinking and visiting a lot of amazing places.

During this time I visited 15 airfields/airports in Switzerland (+ Krakow, Munich during flight Poland-Switzerland and Geneva, Zurich and Krakow going back home)
I'll try to keep the locations in order. Only a couple of photos from each place.

Part II
What I really love about aviation and spotting in Switzerland is that all the places are very spotter friendly, open and accessible. Almost at every aeroclub there is a small bistro, restaurant just next to the taxiway, good food and very friendly people.

LSGL - Lausanne - great airport with a lot of movements, we were invited to the airside just next to the taxiway.

Fantastic selection of photos Tom, and a great variety of aircraft too! The spotting locations and the majority of the airports you visited look excellent as well

You have returned from a great trip with a fab set of images. Thanks for posting them.

I like the Piper PA-46 (image 43) on which I once acted as a safety pilot for the owner who was conducting some practice NDB approaches. Man, those 'planes can get up 'n' go!
Cheers,
