A-10s at Prestwick 30 May 2022

Post by EGL »

Probably one of the best movements of the year so far at Prestwick today was the arrival of 10 A-10's on their way back to the US. Night-stopping and due to depart tomorrow.

Thanks goodness for "working from home" but did mean I could only be there for an hour or so.

UAE C-17 departed in between the two groups as well, but still another 3 left along with 2 CC-130's - busy day.

The tanks look far too aerodynamic. Would look much better if they were brick shaped.

And even some tank(?) art on 165's with the addition of warthog teeth!

Nah! Tank needs to be more blunted, that's a shark eating a cod or somefink?
Great shots btw, Covid & WFH has its minor benefits sometimes. :smirk:
