On Sunday 3rd July, the Rougham Control Tower Aviation Museum are hosting the annual "Echoes of the Past" event. It's a relatively low key affair but we'll have a few aviation art stalls and military vehicles on site, as well as a flypast from one of the BBMF Hurricanes, which will be at 12.45pm.
Celebrating the Jubilee year, Paul Green will be bringing his de Havilland Chipmunk to the event, with this particular aircraft taking part in the 1953 Coronation Review. He will also be performing a flypast over the museum before landing on the airfield.
We're hoping to have his Chippie parked up next to the resident Chipmunk and two Piper Cubs for a small static display.
Entry to the event is free with donations welcome.
As usual, the flypasts are subject to weather and serviceability on the day.

A quick update - the Chipmunk flypast will be at 1.00pm, so not long after the BBMF Hurricane flypast.
As with the Hurricane, the Chippie will be performing three passes over the museum.
