A last minute decision to visit OW and a nice few hours flying, despite the changeable weather and an age getting in and parked. An abundance of excellent flying though, especially from the helicopters, but I can't help thinking there was just something missing from yesterday - whether it was the weather that dampened spirits or a flying item, I don't know, but nonetheless, it got me out of housework yesterday anyway!

Garf's Fly Navy 2022
Re: Garf's Fly Navy 2022
Another great set from the show, and showing me what I missed as I wimped out when it started raining.
Re: Garf's Fly Navy 2022
Great set! Yes Blackbird you well & truly ducked up by leaving then. the light & skies after the miniscule period of rain were excellent!

Well impressed with the flying shots, given the conditions. I can't take pics in light like that and get anything other than dark shapes.
Agree with your thoughts on the show too, definitely felt like a star item short. Not sure what that would have been mind, maybe it was just the fact I'd seen the Wessex at Duxford last year that took the edge off.
Nice to see you again.

Cheers Dan, good to see you again too. I think Lightroom was on overdrive processing these!

They're fab - the 2nd shot (of the Seafire) you've edited it to look like it's an old slide scan or something, and it's all the better for it, somehow adds a sense of nostalgia to the image.

Weather and light looks challenging but you have recorded some great images. The Seafire and Sea Hurri are my faves. Can't get enough of those two warbirds.
