This is quite the catch and the only UK appearance this year by the team.

The Staff team are just chatting - we believe this is the first appearance of the Pat Suisse with F-5s at Cosford, it may also be a full debut for the team too.

(Or at the very least their first time in quite a while!)

Great scoop for Cosford if confirmed.

Is the RAF museum normally open on the Saturday before the show?
Any good for seeing any practice displays?

I think it is (or used to be) but can get quite busy.

Best place to see Saturday arrivals/practice displays is the railway platform further up the road. There’s a large parking area nearby over the road that’s free and usually open on the pre-show days.

Pretty sure its open but the best place is the Cosford train station to view arrivals and practice displays.

Yes, I spent the day in it on the Saturday before the show in 2022. Got to see a few arrivals, movements and a practice display too.

For the practice displays, I found the train station platform best and that is where most people gathered. It overlooks the runway and display axis.

It's unusual to get both of the RRHF?

Midlands Air Festival had both last year, separate displays one after the other but a good way to compare the sounds of the Merlin and Griffon.
