It’s not exactly like we’ve lost a SR-71 role demo!
True but we have lost another display in an already thin line up.

Hmmm comment on FB suggests Brize has a heat warning on runway and possibly no movements after 10. 30am. If true the 2nd Herc needs to get in early.
Looking where the static herc is parked I wouldn't be surprised if that turns into the flyer unless the herc goes on a photo sortie first to kill time and lads away from home

RAF Tutor cancelled

Probably too late in the day for them to get a replacement now
From their Facebook page:
Tutor Display at Cosford Airshow cancelled.
Unfortunately, despite the hard work the Tutor Display Team and Babcock have put into getting the Tutor Display ready for Cosford Airshow, as a result of a technical issue within the wider Tutor fleet, we will not be able to display tomorrow.
We will still be at our stand in the RAF village so come over and say hi!

Just had a look at the Cosford Facebook, Vampire did replace the B-17. My mistake there.

Taken from a post on fighter control:

“Seen a photo of an itinerary tomorrow of an item closing the show

Simply says USAF TBC, previous item is F35B.”

Couple of people around social media and here are saying that the Royal Navy Blackcats have cancelled?

Is there anything official to back this up or just on the rumor mill? Would be a shame!

Black cats have cancelled

They didn’t display at Torbay last week either so they must have some sort of issue which is a shame as they had announced return of their pairs display

The rumour i heard from a spotter at the Bidford Wings and Wheels, is that, 815 NAS is having trouble providing enough crews for operational small ships flights, so the Black Cats have been cancelled to provide staffing to shore up 815. No idea if it's actually true.

No NH90 then

Looking at that list, I’m glad I took the decision not to attend and cancelled my hotel reservation a couple of weeks back

I hope those attending have a great day, and the weather stays favourable.

Whereas an A400 or KC-135 take a quarter of an hour for a flypast!

I'm sure they could have easily fitted that lot in four hours.

At the Midlands Air Festival at Ragley Hall it had a 13 minute slot and from my first to last picture it was 6 minutes.

I must admit, Patrouille Suisse aside that is a Kris Kristofferson line up.

It’s an odd feeling the stuff that’s in the line up isn’t bad but In terms of the rafs only airshow it’s not really pushing the boat out much

There's certainly going to be a mass exodus after the red arrows with that list. Also wouldn't be surprised if people left after the Swiss.

The problem is the B1 was only ever a rumour that started circulating on the basis of 0 evidence it was ever expected. And to be honest with the standard set from the organisers this year I never anticipated it coming whatsoever

Oh yeah I get that, I was never expecting it to attend.

Just a shame, considering on other deployments (B-52 etc) they’ve managed the conjure up something.

Oh well!
