Well, as you have seen, there will be experience flights with the A400M which also eat up quite a bit of runway time. It will have to backtrack either on take-off or landing which means no flying at that time, and no displays until it has cleared the display box or when it returns after the flight.

And some breaks between flying are perfect for visiting foodstands, without missing out on the flying programme.
Even with some cancellations, the program will be good. Hats off to the organization.

Think Chrisse knows more about this than me, but a couple weeks ago I heard someone saying the Civilian Ex-Heeresflieger Huye, that unexpectetly addented Sanicole last year as well and was my personal highlight at least is ment to attend the BAFD as well? Other person today said, the Belgian seaking which is currently restored in flying conditions in the UK... should be attending as well? Even tho its rumours and think its maybe wishfull thinking, is any of this true?

I'm really sorry for the questions, as a first timer, but it doesn't seem to be clear to me on the website.

Spotters day/Airshow days: Are we ok to bring a chair/small step ladder to sit/stand on? or is it forbidden?
Weekend airshow: I understand on the spotting day its forbidden to bring any food or water, but is a bottle of water or snacks allowed on the main airshow days?

cheers and thanks everyone here for your useful info and update so far :) looking forward to being there.

Actually in this case, it is just a guess. They have done them during the show in recent editions but personally speaking, I'd be very pleased if they are after the event. They really take the pace out of the display.

Tranchant with 4 Fougas only.

According to Helispot.be the Slovak MI-17 should be in the flying display, doing a training + SAR demo, dont know if this is correct?

All the flights in the Nh90, A109, A400m will take place on 27 september, so it looks like no flying A400m during the show

Sorry, that is incorrectly reported, wonderful though it would be.

Spain must have 2 Typhoon display pilots. There is one flying at a show in Spain the same weekend at Torre Del Mar.
Seems strange.

Belgian Sea King and German Huey would be very welcome if the rumours are true. But more than happy with what we have

And now with the static gaps even more welcome 😅Seeing I was that stupid to photograph the Huye at Sanicole, I'd be very happy for it to attend again

While I am not 100% on the Huey, it is not currently scheduled. For the Seaking, definite no.

So, around 30 degrees celcius with full blazing sun is expected for both saturday and sunday. Yet the website policy says only a small bottle of water will be allowed. Can we expect anything regards to free water around the airfield? If not, i feel like this might become Radom 2.0.

English FAQ says free water after 27 deg - I'd expect that to be bottles from previous experience (which of course could be wrong).

Had an email response from them stating you can take more than one bottle in with you, they didn’t say how many you could take in though.

Think I may be freezing down a couple of bottles the night before, going to be a warm one but give me that over the weather at RIAT this year!!!

On the page of the Spottersday it hints at a surprise guest during the Thunder Tigers rehearsal. My guess is that this guest might be the FA-95, fhe first Belgian F-16 that they’re retiring because of the mandatory 8.000 hours ceiling of the F-16.

Again, just a guest guess ;)
