The weather was not too good for picture taking. Brilliant, rather harsh, sunlight and a background of thin high cloud giving many of the pictures a plain white background.
On the other hand the wind was light and it was possible to fly the Edwardians and the very light a/c at the end of the show

Tiger Club 'Tiger Nine'

Harbinger sailplane designed in Canada for a BGA compettion. I think that only two were built
It flew in company with a Chipmunk, which was designed by the same person. I think that was the case but a most interesting commentary was drowned
by the noise of the Shuttleworth Spitfire which was being flown close to them possibly because Beverly Shenstone, who designed the Spitfire wing, was also
involved in the design of the Harbinger

The Chipmunk was not gliding with its engine stopped. I forgot that I had increased the shutter speed to photograph the glider...

Hawker Cygnet and English Electric Wren
The Wren gave its usual impression of never looking likely to leave the ground but after a long run it got airborne and flew high enough to give me a topside shot

Deperdussin. Its engine never sounded really happy but it managed a couple of hops. However it was rolling from side to side in a worrying fashion

Finally the Bleriot made an attempt to fly but the engine sounded pathetic and it gave up after the first one
