Luke AFB in Glendale (Phoenix), Arizona has an airshow planned for the weekend of 23rd and 24th March 2024. I am hoping to attend this show (Saturday only) before catching a plane home at the end of an aviation road trip. Luke AFB is home to USAF F-35A, with a number of international air-forces undertaking training on F-35A - so there may be a chance of some international air force examples as part of the static. They might have them all tucked away out of sight too.
Luke AFB also sees the tail end of USAF F-16 training - with a plethora of specially marked examples currently in their fleet. The Singapore Air Force also has F-16s based there, and special scheme 'Peace Carvin' tails form part of their based fleet. As if that wasn't enough, ATAC also have several ex-French AF Mirage F1s, which would be great to see represented in the static, but who knows.

Flying List (as of 9th February 2024) -
USAF F-35A role demo/display will feature. It is now formally listed on the website.
USAF display team 'The Thunderbirds' F-16s now formally listed on the website.
USAF C-17 Role Demonstration now formally listed on the website.
USAF KC135 tanker Role Demonstration (?) or flypast now formally listed on the website.
NEW - A-10 Role Demonstration (as listed on the ACC Website) - role demo is now listed on the airshow website (5th March) - super big fat yay.
NEW - Heritage Flight (also listed now on the ACC Website), and I would imagine will fly in the adjacent slot with the F-35A demo to make the duo.
NEW Civilian Acts now confirmed -
Team Red Bull (presumably Kirby Chamblis in an Extra and the Bo-105 helicopter, but that is my speculation)
Ghost Writers (new to me this one)
Microjet Airshows (new to be this one)
Ed Hamill 'Folds Of Honor' (aerobatic bi-plane of some sort I believe, and new to me)
Ace Maker T-33 display - Greg Colyer?
Military Static Items (updated 7th February 2024) -
USAF F-35A
USAF F-16
USAF F-15E
USAF C5M Super Galaxy (yay!)
USAF KC-135 Stratotanker
USAF T-38 Talon
USAF T-6 II Texan
USAF HH-60W
USMC AH-1 Cobra
USMC MV-22 Osprey
USMC UH-1
MH-60 (Navy, Army?)
US Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk
NASA T34
NASA F-18 (big, fat, unbridled yay)
There is also a F-5 listed for static. Could this be a USMC Yuma based example, or a civilian one? Who knows? It's listed under military static, so my money is on one of those lovely Yuma birds... and hopefully they bring merch.
Civilian Static (updated 7th February 2024) -
Cessna 182 (maybe Highway Patrol?)
T-33
Boeing Steerman
P-9 Curtiss Hawk
T-39A
AL-3C
T-28 Fennec
RV-8

All in all, a show that is coming together nicely.
NOTE - if you are attending by car, you will need a car parking pass. So if you are in a rental, you will need to print off your pass with your car registration before attending the show.

Thanks for that... I have now updated the OP. Interestingly in that list is the Heritage Flight performing at this show. I assume (dangerous I know lol) that this will be a warbird in formation with the F-35A. Looking forward to this show too.sylvancatharsis wrote: ↑Thu 08 Feb 2024, 12:37 pmPer Air Combat Command, the A-10 Demo Team will also be at Luke \m/

Typically, when two ACC demo teams are at a show together, both aircraft will participate in the Heritage Flight. Nine times out of ten, the warbird is a P-51, but West Coast shows seem to get a bit more variety, so might be something different.
