The Greatest Show on Earth

Post by Professor_M »

Better late than never.

A few photos from Saturday at RIAT this year, mostly of the static display.

There were some rapidly changing weather conditions throughout the day, but it was a great show with an interesting, eclectic mix of types.

A fine selection, and the special scheme AMX manages to look splendid even in the rain! Such a shame that so many of the ITAF 100 participants had to be parked such that the backgrounds were marred by endless cars and campers, but still good to see them.

Thanks, both, for the comments - yes, I'd go as far as saying that AMX looked even better in the rain than it did later in the day - I wonder how much longer they'll soldier on for yet.
