Grumman HU-16B Albatross N98TP (Lee on Solent, EGHF)

Post by riatweatherman »

Grumman HU-16B Albatross N98TP visiting Lee on Solent airfield for fuel and left just before the last bit of light at 16:20 on Tuesday.

I had to shoot at 1/30 with 4000 ISO, to get some kind of decent picture. Lovely to see at my local.

Now that is pretty. Very fine low-light photos as well!

Crew have stated they will be using Solent as a refuelling point from now on.

Some great photos here in some interesting light.

Is it known how long it's be hanging around on these shores for?

Excellent result in low light; colours look accurate, barely any noise and sharp as... Nice work!
Gotta feeling that I've seen this aircraft at Oshkosh.
Cheers,
