COAP - Solway Special

Post by EGL »

Taken a but of time to get through these with illness/work/holiday getting in the way. Noticed no-one else has uploaded anything so here's mine.

COAP organised photo-shoot with re-enactors at Solway Aviation Museum. More of a dusk/night shoot running from 5-9 pm. First time at one of these organised events mainly due to geography! Personally felt too much time spent with reenactors and not enough proper dark time for any night shots of a couple of the aircraft on their own but still an enjoyable evening. I know part of that was down to rain where the Vulcan was put to use as a massive umbrella which then lost a god chunk of time.

Nice shots, the Vulcan looks well cared for. Looks like its been kept in a box, along with the crew.

Not sure a big belly Lightning should be wearing 56sqn checkerboard tail markings. I believe the flamboyance ended on their F3s.
